You have at your disposal a free private parking, a beautiful 6 x 12 swimming pool, and you will be able to have fun by playing table-tennis or you can rent mountain bikes. There is also the possibility to have a barbecue, with tables and chairs at your disposal to dine outdoors.
Are you a lover of good food? Your holiday in Tuscany will enable you to satisfy this pleasure too: during your stay in this wonderful rentable villa you will be able to taste the typical farm products, from the extra virgin olive oil to the wine, from the bread baked in the wood-fired oven to the pecorino cheese of San Miniato, then honey and seasonal fruit and vegetables.
Everything will make your holiday in Tuscany unique, and you will be able to carry out several activities near Podere Jana, such as golf and mini-golf, horse-riding, tennis, trekking, trap-shooting and more.
The guests can swim and refresh themselves in a wide 6 x 12 swimming pool: it is surrounded by century-old olives and overlooks the town of Vinci and Montalbano, and it is open from May up to September (sometimes even October, depending on the weather of each single year.)
Nearby the swimming pool, there is a delightful and comfortable jacuzzi tub.
The external spacious garden will allow you to enjoy the shade during summer, and you can find an antique restored oven with a big grill. This is perfect to enjoy cooking together, especially in the evening, while benefiting from the open air.
LA VILLA
The farmhouse Podere Jana is situated in Vinci, in the province of Florence and surrounded by the typical Tuscan green hills. Here you will find everything you need for your stay in Italy, in one of the most beautiful regions of the country. Infact, there are several opportunities to relax within our villa. Of course, you can also spend active days engaging in outdoor activities near us. There is a wide range of offers for you to choose from.
Our 6 x 12 m swimming pool is awaiting you. Ready to welcome you for restoring swims, or just for relaxing at the pool edge, under the umbrellas shades and sunbeds at your disposal. Then you have just to look around to discover that you are surrounded by ancient green olive trees, and that you can embrace in a single glance the area of Vinci, the wonderful village where Leonardo was born, and the whole Montalbano.
Our villa exterior offers you also a wide garden, which is perfect to enjoy our Italian summer weather and, for example, to do a barbecue in the evenings when you are inspired to cook a meal all together. Infact, there is an antique restored oven with a big and functional grill at your disposal.
Let’s move now to the internal area of Podere Jana: here you will find eight charming apartments, for you to use according to your needs and the number of people in your group. Remember that if you belong to a large group, our holiday villa is ready to welcome you: our seventeen bedrooms are all finely fitted and are able to host up to 35 people.
Some of the relaxing apartments of Podere Jana are placed in the manor house, which is featured by a charming vintage oil mill – you will be able to admire the perfectly kept mills and hand presses used for the olive pressing operations – whereas the other apartments have been made in the nearby farmers’ house.
The accommodations have been cared to the smallest detail, and with an enviable view on the surrounding hills.
The structure has been completely restored by considering the traditional architectural style, and its typical features are found in the stone façades, the door and window cornices, the serena stone stairs, antique tiles of the roof (which is however ventilated through modern techniques), the traditional terracotta tiles for the internal floors, the joists of the ceiling made in chestnut, oak and cypress wood, the tenuous colour plasters for the walls and the original frescos decorating some of the ceilings.
It is unique and special: spending some days in our holiday home in Tuscany you will discover that every accommodation has kept the indelible signs of its past history, thus giving the rooms an exquisite touch of antique elegance.
